# 26 Pandora's Box of Hulu

I am already a Pandora user prior to this activity! I love the depth and variety and that I can listen to it with my phone. Last.fm's scrobble effect crashes my computer with alarming frequency. So, choosing Pandora is a no brainer! My lovely Pandora channel, Radio Free Literary Lion suggested this band Mumford and Sons "Winter Winds."

Hulu is a great time waster. I like shotgunning a show, watching a season at a time and Hulu allows me to lose a Sunday afternoon to "Lost."

# 25 Let's screen cast, baby!

The Library should screen cast storytimes so families can watch them at home. We should screen cast commercials for our programs and summer reading paid performers. We could screen cast Helmerich and Zarrow award winners. We could, we could, we could... Wow! We could do anything. TCCL could screen cast con ed, instructional videos on job searching and resume writing. Internally, we could cast continuing education opportunities and meetings. I see my branch using screen casting to broadcast storytimes and do commericials for programming.

Oh Facebook aka. Internet Crack! # 24

My name is Kristen and I am a Facebook addict. If I do not check it for a few hours, I get twitchy. A few days without... A fate too hard to contemplate! I use it to keep in touch with just about anyone I have ever met however briefly. It's also very useful for some light cyber stalking. It does have a few professional applications, I am a fan of ALA and MPLA as well as Librarians I have met at conferences. My Mountain Plains Library Assocation Leadership Institute class keeps in touch via Facebook.com

I resisted Twitter until now. I can barely keep up with Facebook without adding another social media outlet. I am intrigued by the real time posting of authors, bands and celebrities. I can see using this tool for programming- as a way for children to connect with an author
